Hey there! I am a sophomore in college and I love music, theatre, writing and so much more! I have a thing for peace signs, converse, and I like wearing a lot of jewelry at one time. I usually go against thigs that are mainstream unless it is really good. I am a choir nerd and theatre geek. I try to write short stories and poems and am very hard on myself. I appreciate feedback as long as it is not just hateful comments. I'm good at spelling but horrible at typing so if you see a typo assume that I didn't notice it in time to correct it, and I'm not that great at grammar. I am kind of crazy and random, and like it that way! :-D <3!!!

'Family Week end' and new camera

This week end was Family Week End at my university... My mom, dad, and step-mom all came which was both awkward and kinda fun. I love my family and am glad they took the time to see me, especially Linda and Dad who flew from my hometown and Mom who drove them up... My dad got me a really nice camera for my birthday (which was last month......) And once I get my academic work somewhat under control I will try to figure it all out and work with it, which I am stoked for. Life has been very interesting lately. I'm still trying to adjust to college life, especially classes... My mom drove up to visit me yesterday which was awesome :-) I miss having her around to tell all my issues too. Fortunately my boyfriend is pretty supportive and helps me when I need it <3 I am trying to write more... At my college we have a trail called Rape Trail so I am trying to create a nice short story out of that... First Day of Classes!!

So today I start college classes. The week end of getting used to being away from home and being more on my own was awesome! I reconnected with old friends and made some new ones :-)! But now it is time to throw in some work... I woke up early for my 8:00 class and left early in case I got lost.
